Outdoor entertainment, and space, is as essential to life in the south; as air conditioning and sweet tea. Recently, a homeowner contacted us to create a more pleasant outdoor space in an area that was currently an old, standard, concrete slab. 12,000 lbs of concrete slab, to be exact. But, no vision goes unrealized as out team removed the concrete, piece by piece... Dug out 8" for paver foundation... Put down 4" of gravel mixed with granite dust.... Top dressed with 1" of sand that is screeded... And selected Tremron Olde Town 3 piece set that allows for endless configurations, to create maximum structural support. Edge brackets, along edges, help keep pavers from shifting and add an additional level of stability and integrity. And finished it of with Polymeric sand, sprinkled over top, with a vibrating tamp plate working it in between pavers. You've heard of drab to fab... Schedule an assessment, today, and let us take you from slab to fab!!

The upstate of South Carolina is known for it's beautiful weather and seasons. But, in the south, sometimes when it rains, it pours. This can lead to flash flooding and require an efficient drainage solution to protect your home, vehicles, and landscape. Recently, a homeowner in the growning area near the new hospital, off of Reed road in Anderson, had a complex flooding issue. Neighboring subdivisions were funneling their water onto this property and creating flood damage to garage and belongings . City and county both declined to remedy this issue; so, our experts at Durgan Lanscaping went to work. We excavated and lasered a trench that can withstand flash floods to provide a permanant solution with class "A" riprap and large river rocks that not only made it efficient; but, added charm and character to their landscape. Efficient and esthetic.... The Durgan way!! |
